NTIS Presents Innovation Projects Involving Blockchain Technology

WASHINGTON, June 18, 2018 - The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) will present two data innovation projects involving blockchain technology on June 21 to the Information Security and Privacy Advisory Board (ISPAB), a federal advisory board supporting the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Data Scientist Dr. Joanna Chan, along with the NTIS's joint venture partners, will explain how blockchain technology is being utilized to develop solutions for the Office of Personnel Management and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. NTIS manages an expanding portfolio of innovation projects that address important national issues such as fraud, waste and abuse; improvements to internal government operations; or enhancements to external citizen-facing services. As a trusted Fed-to-Fed advisor, NTIS helps other federal programs improve their mission outcomes by leveraging data science services and emerging technologies. For more information, please view the ISPAB website for the meeting schedule and agenda.
