Abstract Task X of the Medicaid Analytic eXtract Production, Enhancement, and Data Quality (MAX-PDQ) contract provides for technical assistance (TA) to the state Medicaid agencies to improve the quality and completeness of encounter data reporting from the managed care plans (MCOs) for 10 to 15 states. State participation is voluntary, although such technical assistance should be extremely valuable to the states.
