Abstract On November 1, 2011, in accordance with section 751(c) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (the Act), the U.S. International Trade Commission (Commission) gave notice that it had instituted a review to determine whether revocation of the antidumping duty order on silicon metal from China would be likely to lead to a continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time. On February 6, 2012, the Commission determined that the domestic interested party group response to its notice of institution was adequate and that the respondent interested party group response was inadequate. In the absence of respondent interested party responses and any other circumstances that would warrant the conduct of a full review, the Commission determined to conduct an expedited review of the antidumping duty order pursuant to section 751(c)(3) of the Act (19 U.S.C. SC 1675(c)(3)). The Commission voted on this review on March 20, 2012, and notified Commerce of its determination on March 30, 2012.
