Abstract The Alaska Department of Fish and Game conducts non-scientific diving at the Chignik weir for the installation, removal, recovery, and maintenance of weir components. All dive projects conducted by the department fall under the authority of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the departments Dive Safety Board (DSB), which governs dive safety policies, training, and equipment. This document provides Chignik weir divers with the specific regulations, restrictions, and emergency procedures for all dive activities at the weir.
