Abstract
|
The Alabama Highway Safety Plan for the 2011 Fiscal Year continues the strategy and focus that was orginally lasid out in the FY 2008 HSP and continues in the FY 2009 HSP and FY 2010 HSP for identifying and focusing on alocohol and speed related hotspots in the State of Alabama. The changes made for the FY 2008 HSP continue to be the most effective and accurate way of identifying problem areas. Therefore that medhtodology for identifying hotspots will continue to be used in future years to aid in comparing data and determinig the effectiveness of the focus given to the hotspot locations.
