Abstract
|
This report summarizes newly developed data from the R&D Data Link Project, a project matching research and development and international investment data sets from several federal agencies. The combined data sets provide information on the R&D activities of U.S. multinational companies (MNCs) and foreign MNCs with U.S. activities that was previously unavailable from the original surveys. The project also produced benefits for the participating agencies through improvements in survey frame, sampling, and data quality. This report covers four separate years of the project: 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.
