Abstract
|
The objectives to this report were: 1. To compare pharmacy acquisition costs for selected drugs to Federal upper limit (FUL) amounts based on published prices. 2. To determine how FUL amounts would change under the average manufacturer price (AMP)-based methodology required by the Affordable Care Act (ACA), P.L. 111-148. 3. To compare pharmacy acquisition costs for selected drugs to FUL amounts based on AMPs. 4. To assess the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) implementation of FUL amounts based on AMPs.
