Abstract The purpose of this Environmental Assessment (EA) is to assess the potential environmental effects of the U.S. Air Force (USAF) acquiring land in Indian Springs, NV adjacent to Creech Air Force Base (AFB) in efforts to meet Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) regulations. The subject property is the privately owned Indian Springs Casino Resort. This EA examines several Alternatives that would increase Force Protection at Creech AFB, including the No Action Alternative, and the impacts each alternative could have on the natural, social, and economic environments.
