Abstract This report provides background information on UV radiation, selected organisms of potential interest to aerosol researchers, and an overview of the effects of UV light on aerosolized organisms. Aerosol generation methodology and equipment, as well as test methodology used at U.S. Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center (ECBC), are provided as examples for researchers to compare to their own methodology or as guidance for those newer to this field.
