Learn more about the Federal Science Repository Service (FSRS)

Documents, images, videos, and more represent the mission and work of an agency, but preserving and creating access to these resources can pose challenges in funding, design, and maintenance. The FSRS develops user-friendly resource repositories that: * Support preservation and long-term access * Promote further use of an agency's content * Are durable against technology changes, yet flexible * Are based on standards * Promote interoperability * Support open government initiatives * Can be tailored to an agency's needs.

Download the PDF: Clean Cities Now: Plugging In - Cities are planning for electric vehicle infrastructure

In preparation for the widespread adoption of all-electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, city officials, utility companies, and local leaders are working together to speed up permitting processes
for installing home charging equipment. To help cities navigate this new territory, Clean Cities developed case studies detailing the experiences of four electric vehicle pacesetters: the state of Oregon, Houston, Los Angeles, and Raleigh, North Carolina that are leading the charge.

Download the PDF: China's Energy and Carbon Emissions Outlook to 2050

As a result of soaring energy demand from a staggering pace of economic expansion and the related growth of energy-intensive industry, China overtook the United States to become the world's largest
contributor to CO2 emissions in 2007. At the same time, China has taken serious actions to reduce its energy and carbon intensity by setting both a short-term energy intensity reduction goal for 2006 to 2010 as well as a long-term carbon intensity reduction goal for 2020. This study presents a China Energy Outlook through 2050 that assesses the role of energy efficiency policies in transitioning China to a lower emission trajectory and meeting its intensity reduction goals.
