Use the DEA CSA Database to control access to your Web site. These packages are for those firms who have made arrangements with NTIS and its partner, Global Internet Management Corp., to search the DEA Web based database directly from their server, validate a customer’s DEA number, and display the results of these searches to their users from their Web site.

Do NOT order these packages unless you have already spoken with Global Internet Management.

Controlled Substances Act (CSA) Registration Database

• The Controlled Substances Act (CSA) Registration Database consists of records of more than one million individuals registered under the Act, including registrants doing business under their individual names rather than a business name.
• Registration under the Act enables physicians, related practitioners, other established health organizations, pharmaceutical companies, and others to prescribe and handle controlled substances.
• The database is used to credential practitioners as well as to certify a practitioner’s CSA status and is extremely useful to HMOs, clinics, health insurance, pharmaceutical, and medical services firms, and others who must verify that a practitioner is registered to handle controlled substances.
