Alzheimer's Disease Collection
This is a collection of 45 fact sheets and reports from the National Institute on Aging. The NIA has primary reponsibility for basic research in Alzheimer's disease as well as research aimed at finding ways to prevent and treat Alzheimer's disease.
Child Safety and Protection Collection
This is a collection of 51 fact sheets and reports dealing with child safety issues, including topics such as child restraint systems, child care guidelines, safe nurseries and bedding, bicycle safety pedestrian safety, and youth violence
Computer Security Collection
This is a collection of 52 reports from the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The collection includes topics such as: electronic authentication guidelines, computer security incident handling, security metric guide, guidelines on network security testing and much more.
This is a collection of 75 fact sheets and reports dealing with information on diabetes. Diabetes is a disease in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin. Insulin is a hnormone that is needed to convert sugar, starches and other food into energy needed for daily life.
Environmental Protection Agency's Science Forum 2005 Collection
The EPA Science Forum 2005: Collaborative Science for Environmental Solutions was held in Washington, DC on May 16 to 18, 2005. This exciting event brought together more than one thousand top scientists, policy-makers and citizens to explore how collaborative science and research are leading the effort to better understand environmental challenges, and provide effective tools for helping the EPA meet its mission: protecting human health and safeguarding the natural environment.
Federal Election Commission Annual Report Collection
The Commission's Annual Report to the President and Congress describes the agency's activities during the year. The report summarizes advisory opinion and litigation and explains new developments in the administration of the election law, including Presidential elections. Commission recommendations for legislative change are also included. This collection of annuals reports covers years 1996 through 2003.
Fire Fatality Investigation and Prevention Program: Fire Fighter Fatality Investigation Reports Collection
This is a collection of 266 reports from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. Each year an average of 105 fire fighters die in the line of duty. To address this continuing national occupational fatality problem, NIOSH conducts independent investigations of fire fighter line of duty deaths.

No Child Left Behind Collection
The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 is a landmark in education reform with a goal to improve both student achievement and change the culture of America's schools. The act embodies four key principles: h5er accountability for results; greater flexibility for states, school districts and schools in the use of federal funds; more choices for parents of children from disadvantaged backgrounds; and an emphasis on teaching methods that have been demonstrated to work. The act also places an increased emphasis on reading, especially for young children, enhancing the quality of our nation's teachers, and ensuring that all children in America's schools learn English. The collection is complemented with additional federal information reports on the state of education trends, education statistics, and current topics.
Nutrition and Your Health: Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Collection
This is a collection of 27 nutrition and dietary guidelines from the Departments of Agriculture and Health and Human Services. Dietary Guidelines for Americans provide science-based advice to promote health and to reduce risk for major chronic diseases through diet and physical activity.
Pandemic Influenza Collection
A pandemic is a global disease outbreak. An influenza pandemic occurs when a new influenza A virus emerges for which there is little or no immunity in the human population, begins to cause serious illness and then spreads easily person-to-person worldwide. This collection of 38 reports discuss plans for dealing with pandemic influenza.
State of the Union Collection, 1989 - 2006
This is a collection of 17 State of the Union Addresses from 1990 -2006. Also includes inaugural speeches from 1989, 1993, and 2001.
Toy Safety Collection
This is a collection of 14 Consumer Product Safety Commission reports dealing with child safety, including toy safety shopping tips, choosing age appropriate toys, and toys which may be harmful.
Volcanoes - Mount St. Helens Collection
This product is a collection of twelve reports concerning Mount St. Helens and the aftermath of its eruption in 1980. These reports contain information that includes limnological characteristics of selected lakes in western Washington, fluid dynamic properties of mud flows, the giant umbrella cloud from the initial eruption, routinization of life in the surrounding area, volcanic ash, soil retention, recovery patterns, ecology and virulence, expenditures and needs, and high-altitude radar assessment.
