The U.S. Department of Commerce, Herbert C. Hoover Building is located at 14th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC. Registration is needed to ensure access to the Hoover Building.

The public entrance to the building is on 14th Street between Pennsylvania and Constitution Avenues.

Public Transportation
The Commerce Building is easily accessible from the Metro Center or Federal Triangle Metro stops.
If you are coming from Metro Center (Red line), you should exit at 13th Street. When you exit at 13th Street, walk down the hill toward Pennsylvania Avenue, then turn right and walk over to 14th Street. If
you are coming from the Federal Triangle Metro stop (Orange and Blue lines), the escalators will take you to 13th Street. When you exit at 13th Street, walk through the courtyard of the Ronald Reagan building to 14th Street and cross the street. You can also walk through the Ronald Reagan building, with a picture ID, then cross 14th Street.

Daily public parking is available across the street in the underground parking lot of the Ronald
Reagan/International Trade Center Building. Should you park in this facility, have your photo ID ready as you enter. There are two entrances on 14th Street and one on 13 ½ Streets (off Pennsylvania Avenue). The typical daily rate is $20.

As you enter the Commerce Building, you and the materials you are carrying will be screened. Once screened, you will walk up to the visitor's counter; please have your government-issued picture ready.
